2. Information We Collect
Contact Information
When users create an account, we collect:
- Full name
- Email address (used for authentication and notifications)
- Mobile phone number (used for SMS verification and optional SMS reminders)
User Content
Couples Touch App allows users to create and store personal content including messages, journal entries, prayers, photos, voice messages, goals, and relationship notes. This content is stored solely to provide the service to you and your partner.
Usage Data
We collect in-app activity data (e.g., touches sent, check-ins completed, features used) to display relationship insights back to you and your partner. This data is:
- Used only to provide app functionality
- Never shared with advertisers
- Never used for cross-app or cross-site tracking
Identifiers
We assign an internal User ID to your account for authentication and data association. This ID is not shared with third parties for advertising or tracking purposes.
3. How We Use Information
Information collected may be used to:
- Operate and maintain the platform
- Provide relationship tools and features
- Improve user experience
- Communicate important service updates
- Process subscriptions and payments
- Monitor platform security
We do not sell personal user data.
4. Data Security
Couples Touch App uses reasonable technical and administrative safeguards to protect user information.

5. Third-Party Services
Couples Touch App uses the following trusted third-party services solely to operate the platform:
- Stripe — payment processing for web subscriptions only; the iPhone/iPad App Store version does not open Stripe checkout
- Twilio — SMS delivery for phone verification and optional couple reminders
- Base44 — platform hosting, authentication, and database infrastructure
- OpenAI / Google AI — AI-generated suggestions and devotionals (no personal data is retained by AI providers beyond the current request)
We do not use any advertising networks, analytics SDKs, tracking pixels, or marketing platforms. No user data is shared with or sold to advertisers or data brokers.
5a. No Tracking Policy
Couples Touch App does not use any of the following:
- Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager
- Meta/Facebook Pixel or any Meta advertising SDK
- Microsoft Clarity, Hotjar, or session recording tools
- AppsFlyer, Branch.io, Adjust, or any mobile attribution SDK
- Firebase Analytics or any cross-app behavioral tracking
- Advertising identifiers (IDFA/GAID) for advertising purposes
App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission is not requested because no cross-app or cross-site tracking occurs.
6. User Rights & Account Deletion
Users may at any time:
- Update their account information in the app
- Delete their account entirely from within the app (Profile → Settings → Delete Account) — no external website required
- Request removal of any stored data by contacting us
When an account is deleted, all personal data including messages, journals, prayers, photos, goals, memories, and couple connection data is permanently removed. Certain payment transaction records may be retained as required by law, accounting standards, or fraud prevention requirements.
7. Children's Privacy
Couples Touch App is intended for adults and couples. The platform is not designed for individuals under 18 years of age.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Updated versions will be posted on the website.
